The White House and the Senate have finalized the details of their deal to avert the fiscal cliff. The bill basically follows the framework that came out earlier this afternoon from the McConnell-Biden talks, with key additional details. Tax rates will permanently rise to Clinton-era levels for families with income above $450,000 and individuals above $400,000.  The estate tax will be set at 40 percent with a $5 million exemption.  The sequester will be delayed for two months. Half of the delay will be offset by discretionary cuts, split between defense and non-defense. The pay freeze on members of Congress, which Obama had lifted earlier this year, will be re-imposed.

Joe Manchin is very pro gun. He supports being able to have guns without many limitations. But after the shooting in Connecticut he is rethinking his view. He wants a change in the law so that guns are more limited.

At 9:25 friday, a man went into a school in connecticut and killed 20 children and 6 adults. He then killed himself.

Today 2 people went into an elementary school and killed almost 30 people. One of the shooters was killed and the other is still on the loose. I hope they find the other guy.

People shouldnt want to change their name unless it is something stupid. Everyone should take pride in their name especially their last name.

They should still let bigger people be in the army. They deserve a chance just like skinny people. They could make different roles for those people.
