A written agreement of general rules for the country. A body of fundamental principles or established precedents according to which a state or other organization is acknowledged to be governed.2. How would your life be without the constitution ?
It would be chaotic without any rules.

Ratification - To make something valid.
Faction- A small, organized, dissenting group within a larger oneFederalism-The federal principle or system of government.
Federalist/ Antifederalist-An advocate or supporter of federalism/political philosophy which opposes the concept of Federalism.
Compromise-An agreement or a settlement of a dispute that is reached by each side making concessions.
The Great Compromise (Connecticut Compromise)-The Connecticut Compromise was an agreement between large and small states reached during the Constitutional Convention of 1787
Checks and Balances- Counterbalancing influences by which an organization or system is regulated, typically those ensuring that political power is not concentrated in the hands of individuals or groups
Democratic Republic- title that has often been used by Marxist-Leninist governments to describe their state
Delegated Powers of the Federal Government- Concurrent Powers are powers shared by the federal and state governments.
Reserved Powers of the State Governments- a power that can be exercised by the head of state without the aproval of another branch of another governments
Separation of Powers- a model of the governments of the state.
Civil Liberties- civil rights and freedoms that provide an individial specific right.
